Collier Row Boot Sale is one of East London's biggest outdoor car boot sales, set on a large grass field on Whalebone Lane North in Romford (RM5 2BH). It runs every Sunday from March to October, weather permitting, drawing around 100 stalls of bargain hunters, traders and household clearers.
Sellers can arrive from 5:00 AM and buyers from 6:00 AM, with the sale winding down around 1:00 PM. Entry is free for buyers, while pitches cost £13 for a car and £15 for a van. No advance booking is needed - just turn up early on the day for the best spots and the freshest finds.
Expect a true mega boot sale atmosphere with a huge mix of secondhand goods, collectables, tools, clothes and bric-a-brac. On-site parking is available and refreshments are on hand to keep you going. As an outdoor grass-pitch event it can cancel in poor weather, so it is always worth checking before setting off.
