Today the directory lists hundreds of sales across the country, organised by region, category and the day they run. Whether you are after vintage china, vinyl records, garden tools or just a bacon roll and a good rummage, we want to help you find it close to home.

Every listing aims to give you the essentials at a glance: where it is, when it opens, the entry fee, and what other visitors thought. We keep things simple, fast to load, and easy to read on your phone in a muddy car park.

Who runs Car Boot Directory

The directory is maintained by a small editorial team of lifelong car booters based in the UK. We go to sales ourselves, check details against organisers’ own pages, and update listings regularly — so the times, fees and dates you read here are reviewed by people who actually turn up on a Sunday morning.

When something changes, our community tells us through the “Help us improve this listing” form on every page, and we verify and update it. That feedback loop is how we keep a directory of hundreds of sales accurate.
