Car boot sales — Region
The West Midlands runs one of England's busiest car boot circuits, and we list around ten sales across the region — from the big Birmingham boots to country pitches out towards Staffordshire and the Worcestershire hills. Most fire up on a Sunday from spring through autumn, with a handful of midweek and Saturday extras for bargain hunters who can't wait for the weekend.
Among the favourites are Hoggs Lane Car Boot at Northfield in Birmingham, a Saturday giant running April to October with 300-plus stalls, and Furnace End Car Boot at Springfield Farm near Ansley, a friendly Sunday field boot (March to December). Stafford Car Boot on Stafford Common pulls a strong Sunday and bank-holiday crowd from March to November, while Cols Car Boot at Wombourne trades both Wednesday and Sunday. For something different, Malvern's flea market and antique fair are well worth the trip.
