About this car boot sale
A Saturday and Sunday car boot sale in Stratford-upon-Avon, the West Midlands, with its dates, times, prices and facilities below.
The Stratford-upon-Avon Christmas Markets fill Bridge Street, Waterside and Henley Street in the town centre for two weekends each winter, with stalls selling gifts, crafts, decorations and festive food and drink close to Shakespeare's Birthplace and the River Avon. Organised by Stratford-on-Avon District Council, the 2025 markets drew more than 250,000 visitors.
In 2026 the markets run on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 November and Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 December, from 10am to 8pm on Saturdays and 10am to 5pm on Sundays. The weekend of 12 and 13 December is held in reserve in case bad weather forces a cancellation. Bridge Street and Waterside are closed to traffic from 6pm on the Friday before each weekend, so the council recommends the Bishopton Park & Ride, which runs until about 8.30pm on Saturdays. Coaches park at the Riverside Coach & Lorry Park on Bridgeway. Details confirmed on the organiser's website, October 2026.
