About Furnace End Car Boot

Furnace End Car Boot is a Sunday car boot that ranks among the largest in Birmingham, Warwickshire, Nuneaton, Coventry, and Coleshill. It has been in operation for over 30 years and covers two 40-acre sites in the Midlands. The car boot takes place every Sunday between March and December, subject to weather conditions.

Selling at Furnace End

Sellers are welcome to arrive between 5.00 AM and 9.30 AM. On hot, sunny days the space fills up quickly so it’s recommended to arrive early. Foot traffic is heavy, making it difficult to leave before noon. In such cases, staff can park sellers closer to the exits upon arrival.

The sale of counterfeit goods, including bootleg DVDs and CDs, is strictly prohibited. The car boot collaborates closely with the police and Trading Standards to prevent such activities.

While almost anything is permissible for sale, catering or the sale of hot food and drinks is reserved exclusively for on-site catering. Bulk sales of cold food, drinks, sweets, and cakes are allowed, but the final decision rests with the organizers.

Buying at Furnace End

The car boot is open to the public between 6.00 AM and 2.00 PM, and there are regularly cleaned attended toilets on-site. Staff patrol the car boot throughout the day to maintain high safety standards, although visitors should be cautious as the events take place in fields with natural hazards and uneven terrain.

Bank Holiday Monday Market

The organizers also host the Furnace End Bank Holiday Monday Market. This takes place on every Bank Holiday Monday and is situated near M6 J4 Coleshill in Warwickshire. This market is one of the largest Bank Holiday Monday Markets in the country. Covering a 40-acre site and drawing hundreds of stallholders from across the country. It also attracts thousands of members of the public.
