Tansley Car Boot is the largest open-air market and car boot sale in the Midlands, set in beautiful Derbyshire countryside at Tansley near Matlock, DE55 6DB. This family-run event runs every Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday from February through to November, combining a regular market, car boot, farmer's market, and artisan and craft stalls.

Gates open to buyers from 6:00 AM, with entry £3 per car or £1.50 per person on foot, including parking. Sellers can arrive between 6:00 AM and 9:30 AM. Seller prices are £12 for a car, £14 for a small pickup, £13 for a small van, and £18 for a large van or pickup; trade and new goods are £18 for any vehicle. There are no trailer charges and table hire is available at £7 plus a refundable deposit.

Expect around 150 stalls across grass fields with second-hand bargains, new goods, and handmade items. On-site facilities include toilets, disabled access, and ample parking. Dogs are welcome, and refreshments cover hot and cold food, doughnuts, ice cream, and speciality coffees while you take in the countryside views.
