Chatsworth Christmas Market is set within the spectacular grounds of Chatsworth House at Bakewell, Derbyshire (DE45 1PP). Each year Chatsworth House hosts a famous Nordic-themed Christmas event, and this seasonal market is at its heart, running daily from early to late November (5th to 23rd in 2022).
The market opens at 10:00 AM, closing around 5:30 PM most days and 6:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. Entry to the market is free, though car parking charges apply (around £15 on weekdays and £25 at weekends); arriving by public bus or other transport avoids the parking fee, and parking is also included with Christmas event tickets.
Expect roughly 150 stalls offering festive gifts, crafts and seasonal treats in a magnificent stately-home setting. Facilities include on-site parking, toilets and refreshments, with disabled access available and dogs allowed.
