Marksbury Car Boot Sale is a friendly Sunday afternoon sale held on grass at Marksbury, just outside Bath (BA2 9HQ). It runs every Sunday from May right through to the end of September, drawing around 150 stalls of bargain hunters and casual sellers across the warmer months.
Sellers can arrive and set up from 11:00 AM, and buyers are let into the selling field from 1:00 PM (entry is £2 per person). There is no need to book a pitch — just turn up on the day. Pitches are £10 for a car, £12 for a 4x4 or small van, £17 for a Transit-sized van, from £20 for larger vehicles, and £4 for trailers.
Expect a relaxed outdoor sale with on-site parking, a Tea Tent and refreshment shed with a seating area, and toilets including disabled-accessible facilities. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead. An office shed handles first aid, enquiries, lost and found, and table hire, with stewards on hand throughout the day.
