Clifton Car Boot Sale runs on grass at The Clanage in Bower Ashton, Bristol, a great central spot with views toward the spectacular Clifton Suspension Bridge. It is one of the South West's most popular outdoor boot sales, drawing around 50 stalls of bargains every week through the warmer months.
The sale runs every Sunday (and Wednesdays) from May to October. Sellers can arrive from 7:30 AM and buyers from 8:30 AM, with the Sunday market open until around 1:00 PM. Pitches cost £15 per car, £20 per van, plus £5 for a trailer; buyers pay £1 per adult on foot or £2 by car, and under 16s go free. Sellers can book a pitch in advance via the official Clifton Car Boot website to guarantee a space.
Expect a relaxed grass-pitch atmosphere with plenty of household goods, collectables and second-hand finds. On-site amenities include free parking, toilets and refreshments, and dogs on leads are welcome. As an outdoor sale it can be weather-dependent, so check ahead on poor days.
