Whitchurch Car Boot Sale is a large open-air car boot and market held at Hengrove Park in south Bristol, drawing around 300 vendors every week. From fresh produce to secondhand bargains - clothing, toys, tools and household goods - it is one of the South West's busiest weekend treasure hunts.
The sale runs every Saturday plus Bank Holiday Mondays from April to November. Sellers can arrive from 10:30 AM to set up, with buyers welcomed from 11:00 AM through to around 4:30 PM. Entry for buyers is just 50p, while pitches cost £10 for a car and £15 for a van (lorries £25, trailers £5). No booking needed - just turn up on the day.
Expect a lively, bargain-packed atmosphere with hundreds of stalls spread across the open Hengrove Park site. On-site facilities include parking, toilets, hot and cold refreshments and disabled access. As an outdoor event it can be cancelled in poor weather, so check ahead with the organiser on 07798872188 if conditions look uncertain.
