Bath Christmas Market lights up the heart of the world-famous Georgian city, centred on Queen Square in Bath (BA1 2HA) in the South West. This festive open-air market runs across late November and December, with over 150 timber chalets lining the historic streets selling handmade gifts, crafts and seasonal treats from independent small businesses.

Gates open daily from 10:00 AM, closing at 7:00 PM with later 8:00 PM finishes on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and a 6:00 PM close on Sundays. Entry to the market is completely free — there is no admission charge, so you can wander the chalets at your own pace. The 2026 market runs from Thursday 26 November to Sunday 13 December; dates vary each year, so check the official website before you travel.

Expect warm festive food and mulled drinks to keep you toasty, dog-friendly streets and plenty of refreshment stalls.
