Gloucester Carboot Sale and Market is one of the South West's biggest weekly boot sales, held at Hempsted Meadow, David Hook Way, Gloucester, GL2 5LL. It runs every Wednesday and Sunday, all year round, on a mix of grass and concrete pitches.
Sellers set up between 6:30 AM and 7:30 AM. Buyers can enter from 7:30 AM on Sundays and 6:30 AM on Wednesdays, with the sale wrapping up around 12:30 PM. Entry is free for buyers, and a pitch costs £5.00. To avoid being turned away when it is full, you can book a pitch online in advance or pay cash on arrival.
With around 500 stalls, expect a huge variety of goods including antiques, used clothing and household items, plus popular fruit and veg stalls. On-site you will find food, ice cream and coffee trucks, free parking, disabled access and child-friendly activities.
