Southam Carboot Sale is a large outdoor grass car boot held near Cheltenham Racecourse on Southam Lane (GL52 3PE), just outside Southam in the South West. Often called the Cheltenham Car Boot, it runs every Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday from April through October, drawing around 100 stalls of bargain hunters and traders.
Gates open at 8:00 AM and the sale winds down around 2:00 PM. Buyer entry is £1 per person, while seller pitches cost £11 for a car and from £14 for a van. Note that, in line with Health and Safety Regulations, selling food on-site is strictly prohibited without prior consent from the organisers.
Set on grass with plenty of open space, this is a proper field car boot with parking, toilets and refreshments on hand. Expect a wide mix of household goods, collectables, tools and second-hand finds across the 100 or so pitches. As an outdoor sale, it can be affected by poor weather, so it is worth confirming before you travel.
