We list 36 Christmas craft fairs with published 2026 dates, in 29 towns across England, Scotland and Wales. Every date, opening time and entry price below was read on the organiser's own page, and each listing shows when we last checked it.
The first opens on Wednesday 4 November and the last listed date is Sunday 20 December. 15 of the 29 with a published price are free to walk round; the others charge a few pounds.
A craft fair is not a car boot sale: the stalls are makers and small traders booked with the organiser weeks ahead, so there is no pitch to turn up and pay for on the day. Most run for one weekend only, which is why the dates matter more than the day of the week.

The table on this page lists all 36 we have checked, with the town, dates and entry price for each. They run from 4 November to 20 December, and you can sort them by distance by adding your postcode.
15 of the 29 fairs with a published price are free; the rest charge a few pounds on the door, often with children free. Where an organiser had not published a price we say so rather than guess.
The first on our list is Contemporary Craft Fair (Craft in Focus) on Wednesday 4 November. Most fall in the three weeks from the start of November, and the last listed date is Sunday 20 December.
A craft fair is indoors, runs for a weekend or a few days, and the stalls are makers selling their own work. A Christmas market usually runs for weeks on a street or square, with chalets, food and drink. We list both: see Christmas markets for the longer-running ones.
Yes, but not on the day. Stalls are booked with the organiser weeks or months ahead, and most are full by the autumn. Each listing links to the organiser's own page, which is where applications open.
Some. Most field sales close by November, but sales held indoors or with no closed season keep going. See indoor car boot sales and winter car boot sales.
