Brick Lane Market is a vibrant, historic street market in the East End of London, set along Brick Ln (E1 6QL). It runs every Sunday and is one of the capital's best-known outdoor markets, with roots stretching back to the 1600s. Around 140 stalls line the street with vintage clothing, antiques, fashion, bric-a-brac and some of the best street food in London.
The Sunday market is open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Entry is free for buyers, so you can browse all day at no cost. There is no formal seller pitch booking listed here, as Brick Lane is a long-established street market rather than a car boot sale; contact the organiser on 02077706028 for trading enquiries.
Expect a buzzing, eclectic atmosphere with everything from retro clothing to handmade crafts and global street food. Amenities in the area include nearby parking, public toilets and plenty of refreshments and catering, and dogs are welcome. The market is hardstanding and runs outdoors on the street. Note that several other markets (Vintage Market, Backyard Market, Sunday UpMarket and Boiler House Market) also operate on and around Brick Lane through the week.
Last confirmed open: 8 June 2026.
