Roman Road Market is a historic East London street market at 536 Roman Rd, Bow, London E3 5ES. Trading on hardstanding in the heart of the Roman Road area, this long-running market dates back to the 19th century and runs every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday throughout the year.
The market opens to buyers at 10.00 AM on Tuesdays and Thursdays and from 9.00 AM on Saturdays, running until mid-afternoon. Entry is completely free for shoppers, so you can browse the 150 or so stalls at your leisure with no admission charge.
Expect a diverse mix of goods including fresh produce, clothing and household items, plus a wide range of international street food from the many food stalls lining the road. Roman Road is also packed with independent shops, cafes and restaurants, so there is plenty of local homemade food and drink nearby to keep you going.
