Princess May Carboot Sale is a busy indoor and outdoor car boot held at Princess May School in Stoke Newington, London N16 8DF. Run every Saturday and Sunday, it is one of the best-known bargain hunts in north-east London, with sellers entering via the gates on Barretts Grove.
Sellers arrive from 7:00 AM and buyers from 7:30 AM, with the sale running until 2:00 PM. Buyer entry is £5 between 7:30 and 9:00 AM, then drops to £1 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Seller pitches are £12 for a walk-in (table-sized, max 2 sellers and 2 large bags), £16 for a car, and from £25 for a van. Walk-in pitches need no prior booking, so sellers can simply turn up on the day.
Expect around 50 stalls packed with second-hand goods, vintage finds, household items and more across both indoor and outdoor areas. Toilets are on site and refreshments are available, so you can grab a drink while you browse. Note that tables are not provided with pitches.
