Bermondsey Antique Market is one of London's most storied open-air antique markets, set on the historic cobbles of Bermondsey Square (11 Bermondsey Sq, London SE1 3UN). It runs every Friday, all year round, drawing dealers, collectors and bargain hunters to the heart of SE1.
The market opens early, with buyers welcomed from 6:00 AM through to around 2:00 PM — the legendary dawn start is part of the experience, so bring a torch in winter. Entry is free for buyers. Sellers should contact the organiser on 02072340805 for pitch availability and pricing.
Expect around 100 stalls packed with silver, cutlery, furniture, china, jewellery and unexpected one-off finds, many run by traders who have known Bermondsey Square for decades. Dogs are welcome and refreshments are available nearby, with the market named by Secret Escapes among the top five antique shopping spots in Europe.
