Covent Garden Market is one of London's most iconic and historic markets, set in the heart of the West End at The Piazza, Covent Garden (WC2E 7QH). Open all year round, the covered market buildings are home to the Apple Market, the East Colonnade Market and the Jubilee Market, with traders selling everything from antiques to British-made crafts. Mondays are dedicated to antiques and collectables, while Tuesday to Sunday focus on craft and design stalls.
The market is open daily from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Sundays 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM). Entry to the market buildings is free for buyers, so you can browse the stalls at your leisure. Would-be stallholders should contact the market organiser directly to apply for a pitch, as availability and pitch fees vary by hall.
With around 50 stalls across its halls, expect a lively, atmospheric mix of antiques, collectables, handmade jewellery, prints, homeware and gifts, alongside street performers and the famous piazza buzz. The site offers hardstanding outdoor and covered space, with refreshments and toilets close at hand, making it an easy day out for visitors and tourists alike.
Last confirmed open: 8 June 2026.
