Devon's two biggest listed sales are afternoon events. Exeter Racecourse at Kennford runs every Sunday and bank holiday Monday on non-race days, with sellers from 10am and buyers from 1pm, cars £8 and £2 parking, organised by Devonshire Wide Promotions rather than the racecourse. Pottington on the Braunton Road at Barnstaple, billed by its organisers as Devon's biggest, lets sellers in from 11am and buyers from 1pm to 4pm for £2 per vehicle from April to late September, and dogs are not permitted. Coypool at Plympton is the Plymouth option, Sundays from March to October at 50p a head.
Matford Centre in Exeter hosts a Sunday market and car boot from 8am, and Devon Fairs runs a Thursday afternoon sale at Lympstone on the A376. Searchers pair Devon with Cornwall, and the big Devon and Cornwall Facebook group ranks above most organiser sites, which is where cancellations for weather or ground conditions are posted. Newton Abbot Racecourse is often searched for, but no current car boot dates were found on its site.
