Warrington Car Boot is one of the North West's biggest and best-loved car boot sales, set on a large hardstanding site opposite B&Q at Junction 9 of the M62, Warrington WA2 8TE. Founded in 1999, it now draws hundreds of sellers and thousands of bargain hunters every week and runs every Sunday, Bank Holiday Monday and Wednesday from mid-February to December.

Gates open at 5:30 AM for both sellers and buyers on Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays (6:30 AM on Wednesdays), closing around 1:00 PM. Buyer parking is £2 per car before 10:00 AM and £1 after on Sundays, and £1 on Wednesdays. Sunday seller pitches are Car £10, Van £12, Any Vehicle (side on) £20, Trailer £5 and XL Space £5; Wednesday pitches are £8 single or £10 double. No booking is needed — just turn up and pay on arrival.

Expect rows of stalls packed with second-hand goods, antiques, tools, clothes and household bargains across this concrete hardstanding site. Free on-site parking, clean toilets and hot food from refreshment wagons (plus a summer ice cream van) keep the day going. Please note dogs are not allowed.
