Faversham Market is the oldest running market in Kent, set in the historic heart of the town at 8 Market Place, Faversham (ME13 7AG) in the South East of England. Held on a hardstanding concrete site, it runs every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday throughout the year, with traders spilling across the old market square in this characterful Kentish town.
Sellers arrive from 8:30 AM and buyers can browse from 9:00 AM, with the market typically winding down by 3:00 PM on Tuesdays and 4:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. Entry for buyers is free. Seller pitch prices are not published, so contact the organiser on 07766595287 to book a stall or check availability.
Expect around 40 stalls offering a varied mix of goods, with parking nearby, refreshments on hand, a cash point, dogs welcome and disabled access across the level concrete site. Look out too for the additional monthly events: the Best of Faversham Arts and Food Market on the 1st and 3rd Saturday on Preston Street, and the Antiques and Vintage Market in Market Place and Court Street on the 1st Sunday of most months.
