Finmere Car Boot is a large outdoor sale held at Finmere Aerodrome (MK18 4AG), on the A4421 Bicester to Buckingham Road, just 6 miles from M40 junction 9/10 on the Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire border. It runs every Saturday plus Bank Holiday Mondays, all year round, set out across the former airfield's hardstanding rather than on grass.
Gates open from 6.15 AM for both sellers and buyers. Buyer entry is £3 before 7.30 AM and just £1 after. Seller pitches cost £10 for a car, £15 for a car with trailer or small van, and £20 for a large van — no need to book, simply turn up and pay on arrival.
With around 75 stalls spread over solid concrete standing, buyers are all but guaranteed to find a bargain. The all-weather hardstanding surface keeps things running when grassy fields would be a washout. Free parking is available on site, along with toilets and plenty of food and refreshments to keep you going through the morning.
