Fordham Car Boot is a well-known, long-standing outdoor car boot sale on grass at Collins Hill, Fordham, Ely CB7 5PD. Set in East Anglia between Newmarket and Ely, it is clearly signposted from the A14 and A142 and runs fortnightly on Sundays through the season from April to October.
Sellers arrive from 6:30 AM and buyers from 7:00 AM. Pitches are priced at £10 for cars, £12 for small vans, £15 for large vans and £2 for trailers. Buyer entry is £1 for adults, with children free; the 2026 season runs every two weeks from 12 April to 11 October. With around 100 stalls, expect a busy mix of bargains, second-hand goods and household finds. Visitors get free unlimited parking including disabled access parking, private on-site toilets, approved caterers serving food and refreshments throughout the day, and a variety of child amusements.
After the sales on 30 August and 13 September were cancelled, the organiser added an extra date on Sunday 4 October; the last sale of 2026 is Sunday 11 October. Last confirmed: 30 September 2026.
