One of Capital Car Boot Sales' largest outdoor venues, spread across 52 acres at Hillside Farm on Pepper Hill, Great Amwell, close to the A10 and A414 near Ware. The long-established Sunday sale draws hundreds of sellers on its busiest days, and the field sits on a ballast deposit that helps it drain after rain. It runs every Sunday until November.

Sellers do not need to book: the main set-up time is 7am, and early set-up from 6am costs £5 extra. Pitches are £15 for a car, £20 for a small van or pickup and £25 for a large van, plus £5 for a trailer, and walk-in pitches are available. Early buyers are let in at 8am for £2 each; from 9am entry is £1, under-12s are free and parking is free. There are flushing toilets, hot food and drink and children's rides, and dogs are welcome.
