St Albans Antique Market is a long-running open-air antiques market on St Peters Street in the heart of St Albans, Hertfordshire (postcode AL1 3DH). Held one Sunday each month, it has been trading for over 30 years and ranks among the largest antique markets in the East of England.
The market opens to buyers from 9:00 AM and runs until around 3:00 PM. Entry is completely free, so you can browse the rows of stalls at your own pace. Dates fall on a single designated Sunday every month, so it is worth checking the monthly schedule before you travel.
Expect around 50 stalls set out on hardstanding concrete, selling everything from furniture, prints and jewellery to rare coins, artworks, vintage clothes and collectables. The atmosphere is friendly and haggling is welcomed. Dogs are allowed and there is parking nearby in central St Albans.
