Greenfields Boot Fair is the largest boot fair in Medway, set on a grass field at Anthony's Way, Wainscott, Strood, Kent (ME2 4UX). Family-run since 1982, it takes place every Sunday from May to September and draws around 50 stalls of bargains across the South East.
Gates open for sellers at 5:00 AM and for buyers at 6:00 AM, running through to 1:00 PM. Buyer entry is completely free. Seller pitches are priced by vehicle: Cars £10, Small Vans £12, Medium Van £15, Large Vans £20, and Trailers £5 — just turn up and pay on the day.
Expect a proper day out with plenty of on-site amenities: a food and drink van serving hot and cold drinks, burgers, special bacon rolls and hotdogs, plus a doughnut van, ice cream van, fresh fruit and veg, plants and flowers, a seafood and meat stall, and a bouncy castle for the kids. There's car parking on site, toilets, and dogs are welcome.
