Otley Car Boot Sale is a thriving afternoon car boot held every Sunday, all year round, at Wharfedale Farmers Auction Mart on Leeds Road, Otley LS21 3BD. With its solid concrete hardstanding ground, this West Yorkshire boot never turns muddy, so it stays busy and bargain-packed even in the depths of winter.
Sellers can set up between 10:00 AM and 12 noon, with buyers let in from 12:00 PM until around 5:00 PM. Pitches cost £15 for cars, £18 for vans and £5 for trailers, with half price for walk-ins, taxis and charities. Entry for buyers is £1.50 for adults, free for children, or £6 for an early pass to beat the crowds.
Expect around 75 stalls of household goods, tools, clothes, collectables and fresh bargains every week. The site offers on-site parking, toilets and disabled parking for blue badge holders, and well-behaved dogs are welcome when kept under control. No counterfeit goods, and no firearms, knives, tobacco, alcohol or controlled substances without the proper licences.
