Taplow Car Boot is a large outdoor car boot sale held on a gravel-based, quick-drying grass field at 987 Bath Rd, Taplow, Maidenhead SL6 0NX. Part of the Taplow-Maidenhead Giant Car Boot, it runs every Sunday from March to October, plus bank holiday Mondays, drawing thousands of bargain hunters after second-hand items, antiques and vintage collectables.
Sellers arrive from 9:00 AM and buyers from 9:30 AM, with selling running through to around 2:30 PM. Buyer entry is £2 before 1:00 PM and £1 after. Pitches cost £15 for cars, £25 for small vans, £35 for large vans and £5 for trailers; vans of any size are welcome and late booters can still turn up.
Expect around 100 stalls on a huge car park with free parking for all visitors. Do not park on surrounding roads to avoid police fines or towing. On-site you will find hot food, portable toilets with hand washing, kiddies rides for children and licensed security for safety.
