Chirk Car Boot Sale is one of the biggest and best-loved car boot sales in North Wales, set in the charming town of Chirk near Wrexham (LL14 5AY). It runs every Sunday and on Bank Holiday Mondays from March through November, on a grass field with space for around 150 stalls.
Gates open from 6:00 AM for both sellers and buyers, with the sale running through to around 1:00 PM. Sellers pay £5 for a car or £10 for a van, while buyers pay just £1 entry. No advance booking is needed — simply turn up on the day, weather permitting.
Expect a huge spread of bargains, from vintage finds and collectables to modern gadgets, tools and household goods, all at competitive prices. On-site amenities include free parking, toilets, refreshments, and dogs are welcome on leads. As an outdoor grass venue, the sale can be cancelled in poor weather, so it is worth checking with the organiser on 07402861199 before setting off.
