A weekend car boot sale on the hard standing at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange in Chesser, held every Saturday and Sunday of the year apart from Christmas and New Year. On Saturdays sellers arrive from 6.15am and buyers from 7.15am, with the sale closing at noon; on Sundays sellers are admitted from 7.15am and buyers from 7.45am. Pitches are £15 for a car and £23 for a van with no booking, allocated first come first served. The venue's licence does not permit the sale of food, drink or alcohol.
