Hillside Carboot Sale has been in operation since 1990. It is a family-run business located in the beautiful rolling hills of Alton. The car boot sale takes place every Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday, from Easter through to October.

The site is conveniently situated on the Basingstoke to Alton Road (A339), providing quick and easy access to and from the location with minimal queuing throughout the day. The site spans over 13 acres, and no booking is required; entry is never refused, and visitors are guaranteed a fun morning.

Alongside the car boot sale, there is a modern cafe and children’s playground. This has made the location a popular destination for both sellers and the public, particularly families. The cafe also offers a takeaway service, and there are disabled facilities, including access to the cafe and toilets. Additionally, dogs are welcome on the premises.

Due to its affordable pricing, the Alton car boot sale has become the best value option in the area, attracting visitors from as far away as London.
