Liverpool's Christmas market on St George's Plateau is part of Skate St George's in 2026, a new festive event run by Underbelly for Liverpool City Council. Market chalets with local traders sit alongside an outdoor ice rink, a rooftop bar and a big wheel, with the columns of St George's Hall as the backdrop, directly opposite Lime Street station. The council awarded the St George's Hall site to a new operator for 2026.

The market is open every day from Saturday 21 November 2026 to Sunday 3 January 2027, except Christmas Day. Standard hours are 10am to 10pm; on Christmas Eve the site closes at 6pm, and on Boxing Day and New Year's Day the organiser gives a midday opening. Ice skating is ticketed and can be booked in advance or bought on the day; the organiser does not list a charge to walk around the market.
