Castle Combe Car Boot Sale is one of the largest car boot sales in the South West, held on the famous Castle Combe Race Circuit near Chippenham, Wiltshire. Running on selected Sundays from April to October, it draws huge crowds hunting for a bargain across a sprawling outdoor pitch of grass and concrete.
Gates open for sellers from 8:00 AM and for buyers from 9:00 AM, with the sale winding down around 2:00 PM. Buyer entry is a 50p donation. Pitch prices are £8 for a car, £10 for a small van or trailer, and £25 for a large van — no booking required, just turn up on the day. Call the circuit on 01249 479881 to confirm dates.
With around 100 stalls, expect a wide range of finds: antiques, bric-a-brac, clothes, plants, fruit and veg, homemade goods, household items, books, pictures and records. On-site amenities include ample parking, toilets, refreshments and disabled access, making it an easy day out for the whole family.
