Castle Combe Car Boot Sale is one of the largest car boot sales in the South West, held on the famous Castle Combe Race Circuit near Chippenham, Wiltshire. Running on selected Sundays from April to October, it draws huge crowds hunting for a bargain across a sprawling outdoor pitch of grass and concrete.

Gates open for sellers from 8:00 AM and for buyers from 9:00 AM, with the sale winding down around 2:00 PM. Buyer entry is a 50p donation. Pitch prices are £8 for a car, £10 for a small van or trailer, and £25 for a large van — no booking required, just turn up on the day. The 2026 dates were 12 April, 7 June, 12 July, 23 August and 11 October; call the circuit on 01249 782417 or check its website for next year's dates.

With around 100 stalls, expect a wide range of finds: antiques, bric-a-brac, clothes, plants, fruit and veg, homemade goods, household items, books, pictures and records.
