Funday Carboot and Market is a popular summer car boot held in a grass field at Duck Lane, Thornwood, Epping, Essex CM16 6NF. It runs every Sunday throughout the summer season, typically from late April to late September, combining a general car boot sale with a market offering food, drink, handmade goods and entertainment.
Buyers are welcome from 8:00 AM until 1:00 PM, and entry is completely free. Sellers should arrive between 6:00 AM and 7:30 AM, with no leaving before 1:30 PM. Pitch prices are Cars £10, 4x4s £15, Vans £20, and Additional Trailers £25. Please check the organiser's Facebook page for weather updates before setting off.
With around 50 stalls set within a spacious field, there is plenty to browse from secondhand bargains to handmade crafts. On-site parking is available and refreshments and catering run alongside the boot as part of the market, making it an easy family day out.
